Abstract:
The proposed CoP will gather academic and teaching colleagues who have the vision and passion to nurture our students with creative thinking. Through engagement in professional dialogues, sharing of experience and critical reviews, members of the CoP will develop pedagogies and instructional designs collectively that can effectively engage students in creative thinking. The pedagogies leveraged from the CoP will be shared, tested, documented and disseminated in the University so as to create a shared culture that values creative thinking skills and the teaching of them to students. Through increasing infusion and improvement of teaching of creative thinking skills in courses and dissemination of the pedagogies in different channels, the CoP will contribute to better performance of students in the GILO ‘Creative Thinking Skills’ of our University
