Abstract:
香港教育學院於2012年公布校內的語文政策,對學生離校時要掌握的英語及普通話水平有一定的要求。為使教院的語文教育中心能為學生提供更合適的語文支援(增潤課程及自學課程或網上學習),以配合新高中(334)的發展,語文教育中心(CLE)普通話組於2010-2012年度獲大學資助委員會撥款贊助,發展有關語言的測試及教材。普通話方面, 中心發展了一套「專上普通話測試(Tertiary Putonghua Test, TPT)」工具、三套相關的普通話教材(初階、進階、高階),以及三套普通話自學教材(進階、高階、教師基準)。2012-2013年度CLE所有修讀普通話增潤課程的學生開始全面使用新教材。
TPT跟國家語委的普通話水平測試(PSC)高度相關(highly correlated), 但測試時間只為6-7分鐘, 為PSC的一半。2012年開始, 教育學院新生入學要接受TPT 測試, 以決定是否可以豁免修讀CLE的普通話增潤課程。
本計劃旨在發展新普通話課程(初階)網上輔助課堂互動教材及自學教材網上版: 聆聽與拼音。並初步建立TPT口語試題庫(3份TPT口語試卷)。

This project successfully designed and developed 10 units of online assisted teaching materials / exercises for elementary Putonghua: listening and transcription. Besides, 7 sets of oral examination papers for TPT were successfully developed.
Impact:
The project team tried out 2 units (i.e. Units 2 and 8) of the materials /exercises online during the project period.
A student survey and a teacher survey were conducted. 90% of students considered the online materials /exercises were beneficial to their learning of Pinyin transcription and to their improvement of listening ability. All teachers agreed that the online material enriches the content of normal classroom teaching materials and the form of exercises is versatile.
